Abstract

Fenomena ikatan antara seseorang dengan suatu tempat tertentu dikenal dengan istilah place attachment. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara destination image dan place attachment pada wisatawan Gunung Bromo. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling kepada responden yang merupakan wisatawan nusantara yang pernah berkunjung ke Gunung Bromo minimal dua kali. Penelitian ini melibatkan 329 responden dengan usia 17 tahun ke atas. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik inferensial dengan teknik analisis Pearson Product Moment. Penelitian ini menggunakan Scale of Destination Image (SDI) dan Place Attachment Index (PAI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif antara destination image dan place attachment. Hubungan positif ini bermakna bahwa semakin tinggi destination image seseorang pada suatu tempat, maka place attachment yang dimiliki seseorang terhadap suatu tempat juga semakin tinggi pula
