Therefore, this study aims to provide the necessary instruments for evaluating hope and self-esteem among Moroccan college students. A total of 1150 college students (444 males, 703 females) completed an updated Arabic version of the Trait Hope Scale (THS) and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). The data underwent factorial and reliability analyses, with test-retest reliability assessed using responses from 26 students. Both the THS and RSES revealed a two-factor solution, and Multigroup Confirmatory Factor Analysis (MGCFA) demonstrated measurement invariance with respect to gender. Furthermore, the results indicated good and acceptable internal consistency (α = .85 for THS and α = .70 for RSES) and acceptable temporal stability (r = .72 for THS and r = .76 for RSES). In conclusion, the updated Arabic versions of the THS and RSES exhibited strong psychometric properties and stability. They have been established as valid and reliable tools for assessing hope and self-esteem among Moroccan college students.

Hatim Ben Ayad Nóra Kerekes Anis Sfendla Adil Najdi Meftaha Senhaji Copyright (c) 2024 Hatim Ben Ayad, Nóra Kerekes, Anis Sfendla, Adil Najdi, Meftaha Senhaji http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-01-29 2024-01-29 6 1 1 16 10.29080/ipr.v6i1.1095 The Effect of Optimism, Happiness and Self-esteem on Quality of Life among Yemeni University Students https://jurnalfpk.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/IPR/article/view/1168
There has been a lack of research in the area of positive psychology variables in the Yemeni context. For this reason, the current research aims to examine the effect of optimism, happiness, self-esteem, on quality of life among Yemeni university students. It also seeks to test whether self-esteem mediates the relationship between optimism and quality of life. 657 Yemeni university students participated in this study. Positive personality index with three-dimensional (optimism, happiness and quality of life) and Rosenberg self-esteem scale were used. The results revealed a positive correlation between optimism, happiness, self-esteem and quality of life. Quality of life was predicted from happiness, optimism, and self-esteem. The results revealed that self-esteem partially mediates the relationship between optimism and quality of life. Also, results showed differences in happiness, self-esteem, and quality of life due to gender. However, the results did not reveal any differences on study variables due to social status or income level.
Ahmed Gamal Ahmed Gawas Copyright (c) 2024 Ahmed Gamal Ahmed Gawas http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-01-29 2024-01-29 6 1 17 28 10.29080/ipr.v6i1.1168 Contribution of Organizational Justice and Organizational Commitment on Turnover Intention among Hotel Employees https://jurnalfpk.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/IPR/article/view/1090
Basically, young hotel employees want to look for comfortable and suitable jobs, or perhaps the target load they receive exceeds the capabilities of young employees who are just starting to enter the world of work. The results of this study show that: work motivation has an influence on the condition of work fatigue of UPT Balai Yasa Yogyakarta employees, workload also has an influence on work fatigue of UPT Balai Yasa Yogyakarta employees, and motivation and workload have an influence together on the condition of work fatigue of UPT Balai Yasa Yogyakarta employees.
Diah Suci Rahmawati Adi Heryadi Copyright (c) 2024 Diah Suci Rahmawati, Adi Heryadi http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-01-29 2024-01-29 6 1 43 50 10.29080/ipr.v6i1.1033 Artpsy Fusion Program: An Effort to Prevent Recidivism in Juvenile Sex Offender as a Form of Moral Retrogression through Wayang Golek Performance https://jurnalfpk.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/IPR/article/view/1089
This research aims to overcome moral retrogression in juvenile sex offenders through the Artpsy Fusion Program intervention which uses Wayang Golek performances to insert culture-based moral values. This research uses a qualitative experiment approach with a pretest and posttest design. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews. The research participants consisted of six children who were children assisted by the Bandung Class II Special Child Development Institute (LPKA). The Artpsy Fusion Program intervention was carried out three times for three weeks. The research results show that the Artpsy Fusion Program is effective in improving moral reasoning in juvenile sex offenders. Content analysis showed there was a significant change in participants' moral reasoning after the intervention, with a shift from immature moral reasoning to more mature moral reasoning. Apart from that, by combining cultural aspects through Wayang Golek performances, it adds a valuable cultural dimension in efforts to improve the morale of young people who commit sexual crimes. Theoretical implications for moral retrogression in juvenile sex offenders and practical implications for intervention in LPKA are also discussed.
Yunita Putri Lestari Sri Maslihah Selfiyani Lestari Febrian Kusnadi Maitria Prada Yusuf Syifa Fauziah Candra Nugaraha Setiawan Copyright (c) 2024 Yunita Putri Lestari, Sri Maslihah, Selfiyani Lestari, Febrian Kusnadi, Maitria Prada Yusuf, Syifa Fauziah, Candra Nugaraha Setiawan http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-01-29 2024-01-29 6 1 51 60 10.29080/ipr.v6i1.1089 A Grateful Heart Breeds Job Satisfaction: The Effect of Gratitude on Job Satisfaction among Honorary Teachers https://jurnalfpk.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/IPR/article/view/1074
Apart from civil servants, which hold the status of full-time and permanent employees, there are other type of government employees, called "honorary or part-time employees". Specifically for teachers, 48 % teachers in Indonesia are honorary teachers. This research aims to examine the influence of gratitude on job satisfaction among honorary teachers. This research uses simple linear regression analysis techniques. This research involved 273 honorary teachers from the Depok City Government who worked in elementary and junior high schools in Depok City as participans. The data analysis indicate a significant effect of gratitude on job satisfaction with (F = 50.908, and R2 = 0.158, with p < 0.01). This result means that gratitude contributes 15.8% in shaping job satisfaction among the teacher. This means that the higher a person is grateful at work, the higher the level of job satisfaction, and vice versa, the lower a person is grateful at work, the lower the level of job satisfaction.
Destiana Rachmawati Nurul Qomariyah Copyright (c) 2024 Destiana Rachmawati, Nurul Qomariyah http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-01-29 2024-01-29 6 1 61 72 10.29080/ipr.v6i1.1074 Ethnocentrism, Intergroup Anxiety and Willingness to Communicate Between Cultures: A Study on Javanese and Madurese Ethnic Students https://jurnalfpk.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/IPR/article/view/1181
Inter-ethnic harmony needs to continue to be maintained for the sake of national and state life.
